We are a privately owned federal corporation that focuses on real estate investment, construction and new business investment/development.
We look for opportunities to expand our business in the real-estate market by purchasing, owning and managing a portfolio of rental properties, development opportunities and/or investment partnerships with other businesses, developers or individuals. What we are interested in is searching for new real estate acquisitions whether it be an existing property to renovate for resale, hold as a rental, convert its usage, redevelop, infill or land bank for future investment.
We also look for opportunities to invest in new businesses or markets on a select basis.
Karmany Construction is the construction operation of Karmany Inc. operating in both the residential and commercial market. We are a General Contractor that specializes in bespoke medium to large scale custom renovations.
Our team is made up of licensed and experienced trade professionals led by dedicated and efficient project managers.
We are fully insured ($5m liability) and our workers have completed approved Ministry Of Labor training as required for residential and/or commercial sites (training cards available upon request) as applicable.
We work on all types of construction projects from new additions, full-guts, remodelling, conversions to income property repairs, maintenance and upgrades. We are a general contractor for the full scope of a project – from cost and budget estimating, design, architectural, permits & plans, construction right through to completion for all of our projects.
Some of our less common areas of expertise include: Home Accessibility
– Part of our focus with the Regional Ramp division is working in the home accessibility space. We will complete home modifications or renovations to facilitate mobility in/out and around the home as necessary. Ramps, lifts, platforms, grab bars and more…
We also offer Property Management for clients who we have helped to create an income property or landlords looking to offload this process. The benefit of having us manage your property is that we have all of the crew, contacts and capability in-house to respond to repair and maintenance issues, or immediate emergencies. This keeps your costs down and shorter turnaround and most importantly your tenants comfortable and happy.
We typically work with larger commercial general contractors and offer our support for both finish and rough carpentry or subcontracting during various phases of their projects where critical and timely construction expertise are needed.
Office Fitouts: A mix between commercial and residential, we work on a number of office fitouts for clients who are buying or leasing a new space. Again, we would help guide our client through the full process as desired – concept, plans, permits & approvals as required.
We do bid selective commercial projects as our scheduling permits.

Progress Reports - Our unique progress reports are e-mailed to you for the duration of your project. These optional reports will give you a breakdown of all work completed. So even though you can’t be on site every day these reports will keep you updated every step of the way so there are no surprises.
Change Management - Our progress reports also help address any issues or changes that may arise during your project. This allows us to discuss your options and what affect, if any, it will have on your budget.
Fully Insured - we’re fully insured including full $5m third-party liability and WSIB coverage.
